This book is inspired by communities that managed to overcome conflict through the creation of agreements and spaces for dialogue. The fables are metaphors of real stories starring native animals from different regions of Colombia. Each fable exposes how campesinos, soldiers and members of illegal armed groups managed, in very specific moments, to overcome their differences and reach agreements to make their lives more bearable. It is a journey through eight ideas that emerged in moments filled with doubts and fears; ideas that knocked down walls, built bridges and reshuffled reality.
